Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	OLIVE OYL (C Zackey) was nervous and fly-jumped leaving the stalls.
b)	WELSH STARLET (*B Soodoo) and TRUE DESIGN (S Naidoo) were slow into stride. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h59)
b)	Permission was granted for BLIND FAITH (E Webber) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the 	start.
c)	OLIVE OYL (C Zackey), WELSH STARLET (*B Soodoo) and TORI'S GIRL (X Ndlovu) over raced in the early 	and middle stages. 
d)	FLIGHT DISPLAY (*G Dookhit) raced wide without cover on the turn and into the straight.
e)	Leaving the 700m WELSH STARLET (*B Soodoo) was carried out by OLIVE OYL (C Zackey), which shifted 	outwards to avoid running onto the heels of ROYAL MISSY (L Mxothwa). Thereafter, WELSH STARLET (*B 	Soodoo) continued on this outward movement in the straight.
f)	ROYAL MISSY (L Mxothwa) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed between 	CHRONICLESOFNANIA (MK Katjedi), which shifted inwards slightly and SPOIL YOURSELF (C Little), which 	shifted outwards at the 300m. 
g)	DARLING GIRL (*N Nastili) had to steady momentarily when awkwardly placed on the heels of BLIND FAITH	(E Webber), which shifted out away from the crop at the 300m.
h)	GREEN ISLE (R Fourie) was hanging in from the 250m.
i)	Jockey C Little reported that SPOIL YOURSELF did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon 	was requested to examine this filly.
j)	Jockey C Zackey reported that OLIVE OYL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
k)	FLIGHT DISPLAY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DG Smith was advised. (LM)
