Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) NATIONAL DREAM (K de Melo) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) As the start was effected BLAZING LIGHT (S Hlengwa) had its hindquarters turned outwards when bumped by SEND ME (T Godden) which was bumped out by THE WOLF (S Moodley) which was bumped out by AMANDLA NGAWETHU (C Murray) which jumped outwards sharply leaving the starting stalls. c) In view of the performance of AMANDLA NGAWETHU (C Murray) (33.30 lengths, 25/1 in the betting) which came under early pressure and was not persevered with from the 300m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) MOHAVE PRINCE (R Venniker), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer M Clarke acting for Trainer G B Puller was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil.
