THE STARTER REPORTED A) RIO SUPREMO stood awkwardly, fly jumped leaving the stalls and was slow into stride. B) SIEVER'S POINT jumped inwards leaving the stalls. C) RHYTHM OF THE RAIN jumped outwards leaving the stalls and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED A) Shortly after the start, RARE (J P v'd Merwe) was unbalanced when bumped on the hind quarters by BOLD LEAH (*K Strydom) which was bumped inwards by MISS ROSE (L Mxothwa) which jumped inwards. B) Leaving the 400m, Jockey M V'Rensburg (SIEVER'S POINT) accidentally dropped his crop. C) Approaching the 300m, LILY OF ORANGE (W Kennedy) was awkwardly placed and was carried inwards by MISS ROSE (L Mxothwa) which was hanging in and proved difficult to straighten. D) RHYTHM OF THE RAIN: Trainer A C Greeff's attention will be drawn to the provisions of Rule 10.5.7 pertaining to RHYTHM OF THE RAIN (G Cheyne) not having raced for 120 days or more at the time of entries.
