THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MARSEILLES (R Piechulek), QUERARI DANCER (G van Niekerk) and WORLD SERIES (G Lerena) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h53) b) WORLD SERIES (G Lerena) raced awkwardly while being ridden for cover in the early stages. c) QUERARI DANCER (G van Niekerk) had difficulty securing clear running between the 400m and 150m. d) At the 600m CATWALK KING (C Zackey) was steadied briefly when close to the heels of CASPERITA (R Fourie). e) RED SPICE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
