THE STARTER REPORTED: a) REVOLUTIONARY (*D D Louw), SILENT WORLD (C Zackey) and ROYAL CREST (*D Pillay) were stubborn to load. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start KAZ FROM ALCATRAZ (M Yeni) was brushed out by SILENT WORLD (C Zackey) which was bumped by DURBAN DIAMOND (K de Melo) which jumped out sharply leaving the stalls. c) Jockey K de Melo reported that he felt something amiss with DURBAN DIAMOND in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) GLOBAL TREND (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M D Miller was advised (SP).
