Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	O SPACE O (M van Rensburg), SUPREME JUDGE (C Zackey), HOSPICES DE BEAUNE (M Yeni) and 	SILENT TRIGGER (*W Fourie) were stubborn loading, causing a delay.
b)	DRIELANDENPUNT (C Little) was nervous in the stalls, rushed the front gates, was taken out, examined by 	the Veterinary Surgeon, 	passed suitable to race and reloaded, causing a further delay. 
c)	MIGHTY MAC (*G Dookhit) jumped slow, losing two lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (14h47)
b)	Permission was granted for O SPACE O (M van Rensburg), MIGHTY MAC (*G Dookhit) and SILENT 	TRIGGER (*W Fourie) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
c)	Apprentice W Fourie (SILENT TRIGGER) rode a satisfactory qualifying ride.
d)	DONNY'S BOY (Y Ramzan) and SILENT TRIGGER (*W Fourie) over raced in the early and middle stages.
e)	MIGHTY MAC (*G Dookhit), which raced wide on the turn and into the straight, raced in isolation parallel to the 	outside running rail and thereafter, was hanging in badly from the 250m. 
f)	Jockey R Fourie felt something amiss with CADENZA and immediately eased this gelding out of the race. 	CADENZA was attended to on course by the Veterinary Surgeon.
g)	Jockey C Little reported that he felt something amiss with DRIELANDENPUNT. The Veterinary Surgeon was 	requested to examine this gelding.
h)	Jockey S Khumalo reported that XPLICIT CONTENT did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
i)	In view of the performance of SILENT TRIGGER (*W Fourie) (Betting 9/2; Distance 2.25 lengths), the 	Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
j)	In view of the report from the Starter regarding O SPACE O (M van Rensburg), Trainer WGC Miller will be 	advised to have this gelding re-schooled prior to his next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10.
k)	DONNY'S BOY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer DG Smith was 	advised. (LM)
