THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) BARD OF AVON (R Munger) became restless and nudged the front gate open as the start was effected and thereafter fly-jumped leaving the stalls. b) VARS VICKY (D De Gouveia) shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m. c) PRINCE OF FIRE (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
