THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EMERALD COUNTESS (S Moodley) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) Shortly after the start, LOOKOUT MOUNTAIN (M van Rensburg) and NIGHT SKIZZLE (K de Melo) came together and bumped. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) This Race was run in rain. c) Following the running of Race 4, in consultation with the Jockeys, the going was changed from Good to Soft. d) In view of the performance of EMERALD COUNTESS (S Moodley), (distance 15,90 lengths, betting 14/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) PORRIDGE BOY (K Matsunyane), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Pandaram advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SHOREYBOMBA raced equipped with cheek pieces (declared 7 March 2026 at 07H10).
