THE STARTER REPORTED: a) KENSAL GREEN (C Habib) jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. b) LINE IN THE SKY (K Matsunyane) and GALAXY QUEEN (C Zackey) were slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) This Race was run in light rain. c) LINE IN THE SKY (K Matsunyane) over-raced in the early and middle stages. d) Shortly before the finish line, ARIEL'S JET (*B Marx-Jacobson), which rolled in, was steadied when awkwardly placed on the heels of SILVER FLARE (P Mxoli), which shifted out marginally away from the crop. This precluded Apprentice B Marx-Jacobson (ARIEL'S JET) from riding his mount out to the end of the race. e) FALCONFLY (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer L Houdalakis, acting on behalf of Trainer M N Houdalakis, was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) FALCONFLY: Jockey K de Melo weighed out at 55,5kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight.
