c)	LETONA (+A Gwadiso) and TRILLION DREAMS (+S Tutu) jumped slow, losing one length.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	At the 500m MONOCLE (+H Tsewu) took an awkward stride when bumped out by LETONA (+A Gwadiso), 	which was carried out by AND ACTION (+E Thuthu), which rolled out marginally.
b)	In view of the performance of LETONA (+A Gwadiso), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this 	gelding.
	Assistant Trainer DG Smith was advised to report back should he find anything amiss with this gelding on 	his return to the stables.
c)	VELVET VALOUR (+S Ngqabuko) returned with a bilateral epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary 	haemorrhage and is suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The 	National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa in terms of Rule 93.1. (Dr K Davis)
d)	Trainer L Gila was charged with a contravention of Rule 11.2.8 in that he presented MIDWICKET incorrectly 	equipped in the parade ring. Trainer L Gila signed an Admission of Guilt and was given a warning.
