Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	OCEAN FLAME (M van Rensburg) was nervous and reared in the stalls.
b)	POTENZA (C Zackey) was nervous in the stalls and jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	OLIVE OYL (C Habib) was nervous in the stalls and fly-jumped leaving the stalls, losing one length.
d)	BAROLO (*B Soodoo) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h08)
b)	Permission was granted for ONCIDIUM (Y Ramzan) and POTENZA (C Zackey) to be assisted by a lead pony 	when proceeding to the start.
c)	The start of this race was delayed as the jockeys were all requested to check their saddles as a precautionary 	measure due to the heat and excessive sweating of their mounts.
d)	WISHES AND DREAMS (R Fourie), BAROLO (*B Soodoo) and LEBOMBO GOLD (C Maujean) over raced in 	the early and middle stages.	
e)	BAROLO (*B Soodoo), which was hanging in badly, made contact with LEBOMBO GOLD (C Maujean) when 	LEBOMBO GOLD (C Maujean) shifted out at the 400m. Thereafter, BAROLO (*B Soodoo) continued to hang 	in to the finish. 
f)	ROYAL CITY GIRL (M Yeni) was hanging in from the 300m.
g)	Jockey C Habib reported that OLIVE OYL made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this filly.
h)	SILVAN MISTRESS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A 	Mtengwana, acting on behalf of Trainer AC Greeff, was advised. (LM)
