Stipes Report

The start of this race was delayed due to BRUH (M Yeni) being resaddled at the start and thereafter, during the loading process SAXON DYNASTY (S Hlengwa) proving stubborn to load. 

THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	SAXON DYNASTY (S Hlengwa) was stubborn to load. 
b)	TROIS TROIS QUATRE (S Veale) and DUKE OF AFRICA (K Matsunyane) lost 2 lengths. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) :
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded.
b)	Leaving the 1700m AFRICAN DUSK (*D Pillay) was steadied momentarily in anticipation of being awkwardly placed on the heels of PLUM PUDDING (S Moodley) which rolled in.
c)	FRENCH TRIP (*M Mbuto) brushed the inside running rail at the 650m.
d)	Jockey R Fourie reported that ACTOR did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	SWORD SPEED (M Michel), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright was advised (MM).

JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES :
a)	Jockey S Veale was the rider of TROIS TROIS QUATRE (advised 15.03.2026/08h52). 
b)	GO GRAYSON GO raced equipped with a rope gag (Permission was granted by the Stewards in consultation with the NHA Chief Veterinary Surgeon, after being passed exercising equipped in this manner).
