Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) This start of this race was effected manually. b) MASTER BOMBER (S Moodley) and DUBAI DUDE (S Khumalo) were stubborn to load. c) MISTER NIBBLES (R Fourie) and CHRISTMAS CACTUS (C Zackey) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) JAZZ FESTIVAL (R A Venniker) brushed the inside running rail at the 700m. c) In the concluding stages STAR OF THE FUTURE (M Yeni) and DUBAI DUDE (S Khumalo) came together and brushed on a number of occasions when awkwardly placed on the outside of PAST AND PRESENT (T Godden) which was carried out marginally by NEXT OF KIN (S Veale) which was directed outwards to obtain a clear run. d) Jockey C Zackey reported that CHRISTMAS CACTUS did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. e) MASTER BOMBER (S Moodley), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S H Ferrie was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Murray was the rider of TYRCONNELL (advised 15.03.2026/08h39). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Jockey S Moodley (MASTER BOMBER) weighed out at 53.8kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) CHRISTMAS CACTUS : Nothing obvious detected. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS : DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: a) None.
