THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	GIMMEFABULOUS (K de Melo) was stubborn to load. 
  
THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (SR) :
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded.
b)	At approximately the 1400m JP'S PALCE (R A Venniker) was directed outwards away from GIMMEFABULOUS (K de Melo) which over-raced and proved difficult to settle. 
c)	Leaving the 300m GIMMEFABULOUS (K de Melo) which adopted an awkward head carriage, commenced to hang in and had to be corrected on a number of occasions when attempting to run in behind MADISON VALLEY (C Zackey). The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine GIMMEFABULOUS.  
d)	Jockey C Zackey reported that he felt something amiss in the running with MADISON VALLEY. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. 
e)	OKAVANGO (T Godden), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer F Robinson acting on behalf of Trainer J S Snaith was advised (DZ).
