THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BORN TO MASTER (L Mxothwa) and GIMME THE TRUTH (C Little) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h05) b) GIMME THE TRUTH (C Little) proved difficult to settle in the early stages and was hanging out on the turn. c) CONDITIONALLY (*S Bungane) was hanging out in the straight. d) In view of the performance of BORN TO MASTER (L Mxothwa), which was hanging out throughout, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. e) An inquiry will be held to establish the reason O'FELLOW (JP van der Merwe) had to be checked leaving the 300m. f) Jockey C Zackey reported that READY FOR THE ROAD choked up in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. g) Trainer VH Marshall was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to have available the registered colours of the owner/s of CONDITIONALLY.
