THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BRIGITTE ANNE (K de Melo) was restless in the stalls and thereafter slow into stride. b) WILLOW CHARM (J Gates) and MAJOR ARCANA (M Yeni) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) MAJOR ARCANA (M Yeni) and WISPINTHEWILLOW (*B Marx-Jacobson) shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. c) In view of the performance of VELVET VALOUR (C Maujean), (distance 20,75 lengths, betting 100/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) MAJOR ARCANA (M Yeni), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer R R Magner was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) EPIDAURUS was ridden by Apprentice K J Lihaba (declared 19 March 2026 at 08H22).
