THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE AS WELL AS THE SADDLE CLOTH OF DINDINGWE HAVING TO BE CHANGED PRIOR TO THIS FILLY PROCEEDING TO THE START. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TINDER DRY (R Munger) was slow losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) PINK TOURMALINE (L Mxothwa) shifted in away from the crop from the 250m b) RAIN IN HOLLAND (R Fourie), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
