THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SOUTHAMPTON (R Munger) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) SINGLE COMBAT (M K Katjedi) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) SOUTHAMPTON (R Munger) over-raced in the early stages. c) At approximately the 1200m, COMMANDER OF ALL (J Gates), which was encouraged forward, commenced to over-race. d) SINGLE COMBAT (M K Katjedi) hung out around the turn. e) Jockey C Habib, the rider of BAY EMPIRE, accidentally dropped his crop at the 200m. f) Apprentice G Samo-Burthia reported that BLOOMINGTON did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) Jockey C Zackey reported that MATTIAZO did not stride out freely in running.
