Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	SONG TO THE MOON (C Little) kicked the back gates in the stalls, was taken out, examined by the Veterinary 	Surgeon, passed suitable to race and reloaded.
b)	ROCK OF FUTURA (MK Katjedi) was unruly and stubborn loading and thereafter jumped slow, losing one 	length. 
c)	DRIELANDENPUNT (*B Soodoo) jumped awkwardly with its head up and made contact with HONORABLE 	MEMBER (R Munger), which jumped inwards. Thereafter, DRIELANDENPUNT (*B Soodoo) and 	HONORABLE MEMBER (R Munger) were slow into stride.
d)	PAS DE NOM (K Strydom) jumped slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h26)
b)	PAS DE NOM (K Strydom) and ROCK OF FUTURA (MK Katjedi) over raced in the early and middle stages. 
c)	DRIELANDENPUNT (*B Soodoo) was hanging in from the 500m.
d)	SONG TO THE MOON (C Little) had to be directed outwards to obtain clear running leaving the 400m and 	thereafter commenced to hang inwards in the latter stages.
e)	Jockey K Strydom did not persevere with his riding of PAS DE NOM from the 200m and thereafter reported 	that this gelding made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to 	examine.
f)	GLOBAL ALLY (R Fourie) was hanging in in the latter stages.
g)	The saddle on GINGER DELIGHT (L Mxothwa) slipped back in running. This was confirmed by the Veterinary 	Surgeon. 	
h)	HEEMSTEDE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer JP Nel was 	advised. (LM)

a)	PAS DE NOM raced with alumites. (declared 14h48 on 20260316)
