Stipes Report

a)	DESTINY'S ANGEL (*I Taka) and WILD FIG (S Khumalo) rushed the front gates of the starting stalls.
b)	PEDRO (MK Katjedi) jumped slow, losing one length.
c)	ABOVE THE HORIZON (L Mxothwa) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (15h53)
b)	Permission was granted for DESTINY'S ANGEL (*I Taka) and KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (M Yeni) to be 	assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start.
c)	KINGDOM OF HEAVEN (M Yeni) over raced in the early and middle stages.
d)	NEW MEXICO (W Agrella) was hanging in badly from the 600m.
e)	WILD FIG (S Khumalo) was hanging in from the 500m and was corrected at the 200m. 
f)	PORFIRIO was hanging inwards from the 400m and thereafter, Apprentice B Soodoo did not persevere with 	his riding from the 150m. The Veterinary Surgeon 	was requested to examine this gelding.
g)	ABOVE THE HORIZON (L Mxothwa) faltered badly at the 100m. Trainer SB Kotzen was advised to report back should she find anything amiss with this gelding on his return to the stables.
h)	Apprentice I Taka did not persevere with his riding of DESTINY'S ANGEL from the 100m. The Veterinary 	Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding.
i)	Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with KINGDOM OF HEAVEN. The Veterinary Surgeon 	was requested to examine this gelding.
j)	Jockey S Khumalo (WILD FIG) appeared before the Board and was advised that although the use of his crop 	fell within the parameters of the current transition period, the revised use of the crop Rules and penalty 	framework will take effect on the 1st of April 2026.
k)	INGQWELE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer WGC Miller was 	advised. (LM)
