THE STARTER REPORTED: a) LANZAROTE (K de Melo) and VERDANDI (P Mxoli) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) LADY ENID (*K J Lihaba) stood, losing 5 lengths. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. Trainer S M Naidoo was advised (BK). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, HOC EST VITA (*T Mayhew) was bumped in by VERDANDI (P Mxoli), which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) SPRING TIDE (R Munger) hung out and shifted out away from the crop from the 400m. d) In view of the Starter's report with regard to LADY ENID, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 27 March 2026 to 2 April 2026. LADY ENID may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer S M Naidoo was advised. e) LANZAROTE (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J J van Vuuren was advised (MS). JOCKEY CHANGES: None.
