Stipes Report

THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	EPIKLEROS (W Agrella) was nervous and stood awkwardly in the stalls.
b)	FLIGHT DISPLAY (*G Dookhit) and STRAWBERRY THIEF (G Wright) were slow into stride.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h10)
b)	Permission was granted for EPIKLEROS (W Agrella) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the 	start. 
c)	EPIKLEROS (W Agrella) over raced in the early stages. 
d)	Jockey K Minnie reported that he felt something amiss with GREEN ISLE. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
e)	Jockey M van Rensburg reported that VIHAAN'S QUEEN did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare.
f)	Jockey G Wright was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline M on the use 	of the crop) in that as the rider of STRAWBERRY THIEF he misused his crop by striking STRAWBERRY 	THIEF more than 12 times (13) which was not warranted when considering the circumstances of the race. 	Jockey G Wright signed an admission of guilt and was fined R2000,00. 
	Jockey G Wright was further reminded that the revised use of the crop Rules and penalty framework will take 	effect on the 1st of April 	2026.
g)	Trainer AC Greeff was charged with a contravention of Rule 8.3.1 in that he failed to have available the 	registered colours of the owner/s of KEY WORKER. Trainer AC Greeff signed an Admission of Guilt and was 	fined R500.00.
h)	EPIKLEROS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer TJ Laing was 	advised. (LM)

a)	C Maujean rode FIRST WISH. (declared 10h05 on 20260324)
