THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FAIRE ADVANTAGE (*E J Muller) and WORLD OF OUR OWN (K de Melo) lost 1 length. b) ANIMAL IMPACT (K Matsunyane) jumped awkwardly and lost 2 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) VENCEDOR (*S Bungane) was encouraged forward from a wide draw, commenced to over race and as a consequence, raced forward, in advance of the field and tired from the 300m. In view of this report, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. c) In the concluding stages PIED PIPER (S Veale) which rolled out from the 150m and WORLD OF OUR OWN (K de Melo) which hung in marginally, came together and brushed. d) Shortly before the finish RECORD HIGH (C F Dicken) accidentally dropped his crop. e) WORLD OF OUR OWN (K de Melo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A Wright was advised (DZ). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) SATYAGRAHA raced fitted with a compression mask (advised 25.03.2026/11h40). b) Apprentice S Bungane (claiming 2.5kg) was the rider of VENCEDOR (advised 24.03.2026/13h13). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) VENCEDOR : Nothing obvious detected. SCRATCHINGS : a) SWEEPER KEEPER : Swollen right front (Trainer - 28.03.2026/12h10).
