THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FUTURE GAMBLE (C Murray) jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) VILLARRICA (R Munger) and UMAMI (P Mxoli) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) LANTERI (G Lerena) and UMAMI (P Mxoli) over-raced in the early stages. c) Jockey C Murray (FUTURE GAMBLE) appeared before the Board and was advised that although the use of his crop fell within the parameters of the current transition period, the revised use of the crop Rules and penalty framework will take effect on the 1st of April 2026. d) FUTURE GAMBLE (C Murray), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis (MduP).
