THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FIELD MARSHAL (C Zackey) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DM) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Turning into the final straight, I SALUTE YOU (M Yeni) was carried out by BRUH (S Veale) which hung out and shifted out away from the crop. Jockey S Veale (BRUH) appeared before the Board and was instructed to explore all measures in keeping his mounts straight and react sooner when his mounts display a tendency to shift ground. c) BIRTHRIGHT (S Moodley) commenced to hang in from the 350m and as a result raced in isolation parallel to the inside running rail. d) Entering the 200m DOWN BY THE RIVER (C F Dicken) had to ease and was directed inwards off the heels of I SALUTE YOU (M Yeni) which shifted out away from the crop and rolled out. e) FIELD MARSHAL (C Zackey), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
