THE STARTER REPORTED: a) FIELD OF DREAMS (*M Mbuto) and THE NAME OF DLADLA (M K Katjedi) were slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) At approximately the 1200m, HIGHWAY CODE (K Matsunyane), which commenced to over-race, was steadied to avoid running onto the heels of PARACHUTE ADAMS (M Yeni). As a result, BIG JOHN MAC (C Murray) was switched out to avoid running onto the heels of HIGHWAY CODE (K Matsunyane). c) PARACHUTE ADAMS (M Yeni) hung out from the 400m. d) HIGHWAY CODE (K Matsunyane) hung out from the 300m. e) THE NAME OF DLADLA (M K Katjedi) shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. f) Jockey C Murray reported that he felt something amiss with BIG JOHN MAC in running.
