THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PALACE GUARD (K de Melo) stood, losing many lengths. The starting stall certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. Trainer M G Azzie was advised (BN). THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) The Board have adjourned to review Jockey M Michel's ( MICHAEL FARADAY) crop use in this race. c) In view of the Starter's report with regard to PALACE GUARD, this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn, and he is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as he proves tractable loading and jumping with a companion. Suspension dates: 13 April 2026 to 19 April 2026. PALACE GUARD may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer M G Azzie was advised. d) MICHAEL FARADAY (M Michel), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
