THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ADDICTED TO YOU (C Little) and JULIET OF VERONA (A Domeyer) were fractious in the stalls. b) ENTICEMENT (JP van der Merwe) was restless in the stalls. c) SING FOREVERMORE (J Solomons) jumped slow, losing two lengths and thereafter, was slow into stride. d) INGENUE (O Noach) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (12h05) b) Light rain fell prior to and during the running of this race. c) Shortly after the start, WORLD OF SECRETS (K Steyn) shifted out away from BURSTURBUBBLE (G Wright) and made contact with ENTICEMENT (JP van der Merwe). d) SYLT (*B Plaatjies) raced green and was hanging out from the 400m. e) INGENUE (O Noach) raced green. f) In view of the performance of ADDICTED TO YOU (C Little), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. g) In view of the report from the Starter regarding ADDICTED TO YOU (C Little) and JULIET OF VERONA (A Domeyer) Trainers G Kotzen and C Bass will be advised to have these fillies re-schooled prior to their next engagement in terms of Rule 61.6.10. h) ENTICEMENT, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
