THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GREEN FLASH (M Yeni) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. b) CALANTHA (J R Syster) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, WORLD OF ALICE (S Moodley) and KOMATI RIVER (*B Marx-Jacobson) suffered varying degrees of interference when awkwardly placed between BLIZZARD SNOW (M van Rensburg) and GREEN FLASH (M Yeni), which jumped outwards leaving the stalls. c) ROAMING SPIRIT (*T Mayhew) hung in in the concluding stages. d) KOMATI RIVER (*B Marx-Jacobson), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
