THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GAELIC DANCER (C Little) jumped inwards. b) ICED MARMALADE (G Wright) jumped awkwardly. c) MISTER WHISTLE (MK Katjedi) jumped slow, losing one length. d) TRAVEL MASTER (R Fourie) jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with the left side front gate leaving the stalls. e) WORLD PHAROAH (M Yeni) was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) TRAVEL MASTER recorded a TCO2 concentration of more than 36 mmol/L. Trainer AC Greeff was advised that a second blood specimen would be collected. This specimen was of an acceptable TCO2 level. (15h37) b) Permission was granted for ICED MARMALADE (G Wright) and WORLD PHAROAH (M Yeni) to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) WORLD PHAROAH, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
