THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ZAGREB (JP van der Merwe) and WIZARDING WORLD (*EJ Muller) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (13h28) b) After leaving the parade ring correctly shod, BORN TO MASTER (O Noach) cast its left front shoe, which was replaced, causing a delay. c) BORN TO MASTER (O Noach) raced wide in the early stages and was allowed to race around runners and to the front of the field at the 900m. d) GEORGE REX (C Habib) raced wide on the turn and into the straight. e) ZAGREB (JP van der Merwe) and FREQUENT TRAVELLER (C Orffer) brushed at the 200m. f) BOURBON KING (C Zackey) was hanging in in the straight and proved difficult to assist. g) SPANISH VERSE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
