THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WINDS OF GRACE jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) REDLIGHTGREENLIGHT and GOLDEN ASPEN were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) REDLIGHTGREENLIGHT proved reluctant to canter to the start. Assistant Trainer M Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer A P Peter, was advised that should this gelding behave in a similar manner in future, he may be suspended. c) Shortly after the start, OKLAHOMA TWISTER and MILITARY MOVES came together and bumped when awkwardly placed between BOLD ACTION and WINDS OF GRACE, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. d) WAR REPORTER shifted both ways away from the crop from the 300m. e) REDLIGHTGREENLIGHT shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. f) In view of the performance of COMMANDER OF ALL, (distance 9,95 lengths, betting 25/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) WAR REPORTER, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
