THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GREENLIGHT LEGEND (R Fourie) kicked the back gates of the starting stalls and thereafter was slow into stride. b) LIGHT OF DAY (*I Taka) jumped slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) THREAD OF LIFE (MK Katjedi) and CHRONICLESOFNANIA (C Maujean) over raced in the early stages. b) Apprentice I Taka (LIGHT OF DAY) dropped his crop at the 300m. c) In view of the performances of FIRE GLOW (S Moodley) and FLYPAST (M Yeni), which were not persevered with from the 200m, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. d) GREENLIGHT LEGEND, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
