THE STARTER REPORTED: a) AMELIA'S LEGACY lost 1 length. b) PRINCESS OF GAUL was restless in the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Leaving the starting stalls, DAISY JONES was bumped by FRANGIPANI which jumped outwards. Thereafter, FRANGIPANI and DAISY JONES came together and bumped on 2 occasions. c) Approaching the 1300m, DAISY JONES ran onto and clipped the heels of KEUKENHOF. d) AMELIA'S LEGACY hung in from the 300m. e) Approaching the 150m, WISH LIST was directed to the inside of QUICKSTEPGAL to continue its run. f) Jockey M Yeni reported that he felt something amiss with FRANGIPANI in the concluding stages. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. g) WISH LIST, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer J S Snaith was advised (MM). h) QUICKSTEPGAL, placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M N Prinsloo was advised (SP). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Nil.
