THE STARTER REPORTED: a) PARALEGAL jumped slow, losing one length. b) VROOM VROOM jumped inwards. c) WHY NOT JACKIE was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (16h06) b) Shortly after the start, EASY MONEY was buffeted between LHASA and TRUE HORIZON, both of which shifted ground leaving the stalls. c) For a short distance leaving the 600m, WHY NOT JACKIE raced awkwardly while racing in restricted galloping room between the inside running rail and TRUE HORIZON. d) Jockey S Moodley reported that FINAL CALL did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. e) In view of the performance of MYSTIC INFERNO, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. f) EASY MONEY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
