EN ROUTE TO THE START, ORANGE COUNTY LIFTED ITS RIGHT FRONT SHOE, WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THIS CAUSED A DELAY TO THE START OF THIS RACE. THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) ORANGE COUNTY hung in from the 200m. c) In view of the performance of ROBERT BROWNING, (distance 7,40 lengths, betting 17/2), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. d) BOUNDLESS LOVE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
