THE STARTER REPORTED: a) BLACK PATH was nervous in the stalls, reared as the start was effected and was slow into stride. b) BLUE PALACE was nervous in the stalls, reared shortly before the start was effected and fly-jumped leaving the stalls, losing two lengths. c) POTENZA jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. d) SUN SPECTACULAR jumped awkwardly and made contact with the right-side front gate leaving the stalls. e) GLORIA MUNDI was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. (16h03) b) Permission was granted for POTENZA to be assisted by a lead pony when proceeding to the start. c) LANA VIEW, which was hanging out, shifted out away from the crop from the 300m. d) LANA VIEW, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
