THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SIERRA FOXTROT fly jumped leaving the stalls, lost 3 lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. b) POWER OF PEARLS fly jumped leaving the stalls and lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Approaching the 800m, DONMAGOO was steadied momentarily in anticipation of being awkwardly placed between the heels of CAPTAIN T and the heels of POWER OF PEARLS. c) At the 100m, CATRIEN rolled in and then was directed out away from the heels of POWER OF PEARLS. d) POWER OF PEARLS, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S Ferrie acting for Trainer C/T Dawson was advised (MM). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) No report. THERE WERE NO SCRATCHINGS DISQUALIFIED / DECLARED NON-RUNNER: a) None.
