THE STARTER REPORTED: a) ARISTOCRATIC jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels after ZEITZ passed following a second test. b) ARISTOCRATIC hung in, in the concluding stages. c) Jockey C Zackey was charged with a contravention of Rule 55.4, in that he, as the rider of ARISTOCRATIC, failed to weigh out at the carded weight, resulting in a change of rider. Jockey Zackey signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1000. d) ZEITZ, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer B Forster acting on behalf of Trainer W A Nel was advised (MM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey S Veale was the rider of ARISTOCRATIC (advised 17.05.2026/11h47).
