Stipes Report
THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE SHEPHERD was stubborn to load. Trainer W M Masawi will be advised to reschool this gelding. b) MISTER NIBBLES and OFFICER IN COMMAND were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Leaving the 1400m FRENCH TRIP was carried in marginally by OFFICER IN COMMAND, which rolled in. As a result, GREEN GLOW was bumped by NOBLE CITY which was brushed in by FRENCH TRIP. c) In the concluding stages KANAAL SKATER was brushed out by QUEUE WING which rolled out. Immediately thereafter KANAAL SKATER was eased when awkwardly placed between the heels of QUEUE WING and the heels of CAPSAICIN, which rolled in. d) CAPSAICIN, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer S H Ferrie was advised (MM). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey T Godden was the rider of DOWN BY THE RIVER (advised 17.05.2026/07h26). THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED : a) No report.
