THE STARTER REPORTED: a) GIMME MORE APACHE jumped slow, losing two lengths. b) DIAMOND BARON jumped slow, losing one length. The Veterinarian was requested to examine this colt. d) Apprentice EJ Muller was charged with a contravention of Rule 58.10.2 (read with Guideline B on the use of the crop) in that he struck IN THE AIR TONIGHT with his crop arm above shoulder height. Apprentice EJ Muller signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined R1 000,00. e) DIAMOND BARON, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
