THE STARTER REPORTED: a) EDUCATOR was stubborn to load. Lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start EDUCATOR was carried out by ICE RAIN, which was brushed out by SPIRIT OF SHIMLA, which rolled out away from PROM QUEEN. c) SPIRIT OF SHIMLA hung in from the 350m. d) At the 150m, ICE RAIN was directed to the inside of SHE'S A BOMBER to continue its run. e) Jockey A Fortune reported that he felt something amiss in the running with ANOTHER DREAM. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) Trainer F Greyling reported post-race that PROM QUEEN was cut into, right hind. g) EDUCATOR, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer D Kannemeyer was advised (SS). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) Jockey C Little (LOCK AND KEY) weighed out at 57.8kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight. b) Jockey S Veale (SPIRIT OF SHIMLA) weighed out at 53kg, 0.5kg over the carded weight.
