THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE.

THE STARTER REPORTED:
a) SHINING STAR was stubborn loading and thereafter slow into stride.
b) NORTH STAR FURY was stubborn loading, restless in the stalls and thereafter slow, losing one length.
c) SEVENTH FLEET was restless in the stalls.
d) WAR SUMMIT jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
e) SKY PILOT jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
f) DREAMING OF YOUTH and KATOOMBA were slow, losing one length.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded.
b) Shortly after the start, CAPTAIN COOPER and SHINING STAR were carried out by SKY PILOT, which jumped outwards leaving the stalls.
c) Shortly after the start, JAN FISKAAL was bumped in by WAR SUMMIT, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls.
d) ECHOES OF WAR hung out from the 200m.
e) Jockey M Michel reported that she felt something amiss with WILLOW CHARM in running.

f) Apprentice B Marx-Jacobson reported that he felt something amiss with NORTH STAR FURY in running.

b) TOMMY'S GLORY lame left hind - suspected pelvic fracture. Veterinary report required prior to racing. Rule 49.7 applies. TOMMY'S GLORY is required to perform a gallop to the satisfaction of the NHA veterinary department prior to his next engagement. Trainer P F Matchett was advised (MB).
c) NORTH STAR FURY not striding out right hind.
