THE START OF THIS RACE WAS DELAYED DUE TO THE DELAY IN THE PREVIOUS RACE, AS WELL AS UTSAAH LIFTING ITS LEFT FRONT SHOE EN ROUTE TO THE START, WHICH WAS ATTENDED TO BY THE COURSE FARRIER. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) THE MIGHTIEST was slow, losing one length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) PEARL IN HER CROWN over-raced in the early stages. c) TOP SHELF TEDDY, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
