THE STARTER REPORTED:  
a)	FREEDOM FIGHTER and BANFF lost 1 length. 
b)	VIBE SA became restless as the start was effected and lost 2 lengths. 

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (DA) :
a)	All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded.
b)	Jockey K de Melo reported that SAUDI CAT (ARG) was blowing post race. In view of this and the performance of this gelding (7.15 lengths, 5/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. 
c)	Jockey S Veale reported that he felt something amiss in the concluding stages with COGNAC. The Veterinarian was requested to examine.
d)	Jockey G Lerena reported that GOLDEN RULE took a number of awkward strides in the concluding stages. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. 
e)	In view of the performance of FREEDOM FIGHTER (15.75 lengths, 33/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine.
