THE STARTER REPORTED: a) MOONFACE and SEACHTU REALTA jumped inwards leaving the stalls. b) BLAZING BREEZE jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels, and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start, BLAZING BREEZE, MOONFACE and WINTER VOICE suffered varying degrees of interference when awkwardly placed between NORTHERN EUROPEAN and SEACHTU REALTA, which jumped inwards leaving the stalls. c) At approximately the 150m, WINTER VOICE was carried out by LADY ENID, which hung out from the 500m. d) Jockey M Yeni reported that NORTHERN EUROPEAN did not stride out freely in running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. e) STAGGERWING, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer Mathew de Kock was advised (MduP). JOCKEY CHANGES: None. THE VETERINARIAN REPORTED: a) NORTHERN EUROPEAN not striding out left hind. b) BLAZING BREEZE coughing post-race. c) MOLTEN ROCK blowing post-race; scalp wound right hind.
