THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DEEPEST WATER (M Michel) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Prior to leaving the parade ring DEEPEST WATER had its left front shoe re-fitted by the Farrier. c) Passing the 700m ACT OF GRACE was bumped out by HAPPY FORTUNE which over raced in the early and middle stages and rolled out. d) DEEPEST WATER hung out around the turn and thereafter commenced to hang in, in the straight. e) HAPPY FORTUNE hung in from the 250m. f) At the 300m FAITHFUL NEO was directed to the outside of runners to continue its run. g) In view of the performances of FAITHFUL NEO (11.05 lengths and 66/1 in the betting), ZENA'S ACT (11.45 lengths and 25/1 in the betting) and ACT OF GRACE (7.55 lengths and 33/10 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. h) HAPPY FORTUNE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
