THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DE VLUGGE was re-saddled at the start. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED (JN) : a) All horses selected for TCO2 were within the required levels and no retests were recorded. b) Shortly after the start ONE SMART COOKIE was steadied when awkwardly placed between FORWARD MOTION and the heels of PERILLA. c) In the concluding stages FORWARD MOTION was carried in by PERILLA, which hung in from the 300m and shifted in shortly before the finish. d) Jockey R Fourie reported that ONE SMART COOKIE took no interest in the running. The Veterinarian was requested to examine. e) In view of the performance of LIMITLESS SKY (10.80 lengths and 16/1 in the betting), the Veterinarian was requested to examine. f) DE VLUGGE, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
