THE STARTER REPORTED:
a)	BILLY BOWLEGS (C Zackey), EYJAFJALLAJOKULL (*G Pieterse), LORD TENNYSON (S Brown), QUANTUM THEORY (M Yeni) and THYMETOSHINE (G Lerena) were stubborn loading.
b)	QUANTUM THEORY (M Yeni) was slow into stride.	

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED:
a)	EYJAFJALLAJOKULL (*G Pieterse) and QUANTUM THEORY (M Yeni) raced green. 
b)	THUNDERSTRUCK (C Habib) ducked out sharply for no apparent reason at approximately the 100m.
c)	In view of the performance of MOVER AND SHAKER (R Munger), (distance 13,50 lengths, betting 4/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. 
	Trainer F P Habib was requested to report back to the Stipendiary Board on the condition of MOVER AND SHAKER on return to stables	
d)	Apprentice J R Syster reported that POOLE HARBOUR made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt.
