THE STARTER REPORTED:

a)	BAVARIAN JET (J van der Merwe) was nervous in the stalls
b)	CRIONNA (K Minnie) and LADYHAWKE (G Cheyne) were slow into stride.
c)	MYSMALLTIMEBLUES (*K Brewer) jumped awkwardly outwards, was slow into stride and lost many lengths.

THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: 

a)	MYSMALLTIMEBLUES (*K Brewer) jumped awkwardly outwards with its head up, thereafter ducked inwards and was unbalanced and consequently lost significant ground to the field.
b)	LITERAL IMAGE (*Y Ramzan) was hanging in throughout. In view of this report, the course veterinary surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Apprentice Y Ramzan, the rider of LITERAL IMAGE, was advised that he was obliged to report anything which may affect his mounts in running.
c)	Jockey S Khathi (MAKAHA BEACH) was advised that his riding had come under notice and that he is obliged to ride his mounts with sufficient vigour and purpose so as to leave no room for query.
d)	In view of the report from the starter regarding MYSMALLTIMEBLUES (K Brewer), this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 and until such time as she proves to be able to jump on terms with the field. Suspension dates: 14/05/2022 to 20/05/2022 inclusive). MYSMALLTIMEBLUES may not be presented for re-passing during this period.
e)	OPEN SECRET, the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer SJ Snaith was advised. (LM)
